2013-2014 Cast Lists
Spring Season

Am I Blue?
directed by Steph Seiden

Thanks to everyone who auditioned this past week, your bravery and talent makes these decisions very difficult.  I am very impressed and very excited about this upcoming season and the future of South Stage.  To my lovely seven cast members, get ready to get to work.  I can’t wait to make some awesome theatre with you kids!

Snapshots
directed by Nicky Leiter
Ralph Waldo Emerson writes, "In a portrait he must inscribe the character and not the features, and must esteem the man who sits to him as himself only an imperfect picture or likeness of the aspiring original within." I appreciate all of the portraits shown during auditions. I saw some inspiring theatre. Getting up onstage to be judged for your personal and cherished art takes a lot of strength. Your courage keeps South Stage, one of the few havens of expression at South, alive.
Many thanks and much love from your fellow actor,

Nicky Leiter

Hollis: Sarah A-K
Sherry: Emma G-R
Carol: Ashley H.

This is a Musical about Zombies
directed by Sophie Cash

First of all, I’d like to reiterate how proud you all should be of yourselves for showing such courage at auditions and callbacks. The audition process is neither an easy nor always fun experience, but it shows great character to power through it with such grace as you did.

I’m so excited to work with you all, and to create a 100 percent original (and fantastic) work of theatre together. Be prepared to put in your all, commit, and of course, have fun.

Let me know if you have any questions about casting, auditions, or rehearsals at soph720@gmail.com.
